Description
Literature is a fundamental landmark in a nation's identity, bringing together the creations written over time on the territory and in the language of each nation. To preserve this national literary heritage, all members of the community must have quick access to information about representative writers, their works, and the concepts, literary movements, and publications. Current work supports the digitalization of Romanian literature by capitalizing on two major corpora issued by the Romanian Academy: the General Dictionary of Romanian Literature (DGLR) and the Chronology of Romanian Literary Life (CVLR). The INTELLIT~3.0 web platform is built on the already converted textual base, now enriched with interactive infographics that transform raw data into chronologies, maps, and visual graphs, highlighting the evolution of trends and the dynamics of publications. As such, the platform serves as a tool for preserving cultural heritage, with a clear educational role as it supports teaching of literature in schools, facilitates individual study, and provides researchers with a modern resource.
